Taylor is friendly and was a great help with getting me scheduled and all the info to me that I needed prior to my first appointment.  My therapist worked with me to help me with my injury, came up with a plan that worked best for me and my life right now and checked in frequently to make sure I was getting what I needed. Went in with persistent knee issues (meniscus tear, osteoarthritis, etc) that was seriously impacting my quality of life. I noticed a stark improvement after just a couple sessions and after a couple months, my knee is problem free! I threw my back out (yet again for the third time in two years) in such a way that I couldn’t walk, I couldn’t dress myself, I couldn’t do anything, which also caused me to spiral into depression and anger. Muscle relaxants and pain killers barely touched the pain, x rays showed nothing, and I came to Adria as a last resort of desperation at the recommendation of a friend. I paid out of pocket and I was convinced it wouldn’t do anything. I shared my experience with Adria and she listened with true humanity and empathy and said “listen, I can’t make your pain go away but I can teach you how to never let it get this bad ever again.” It’s been two years and because of what Adria taught me about moving, stretching and the exercises she gave me, I have not had a single episode. When I feel my hips tighten or the pain start to come, I do my stretches and exercises for a couple of days and it’s back to normal! I could cry with gratitude. I don’t wish my pain on anybody. Adria changed my life. Gave me back my body and by extension, my freedom. And I’ll never be able to quite put into words how much her care affected me.
